GARDENING FAITH.

Our garden is officially 1 week old. I feel like we own a puppy. Brett and I are always asking, "How's the garden doing?" or saying things like, "Do you think they will be ok out there?" (on cold nights) and "Did the garden get water today?"

This is our first gardening attempt.

The whole experience has put a new spin on faith for me. I'm realizing that faith is fragile.

Before planting, I held the seeds in my hand and a few of them actually got lost in the creases of my palm. Then dropping each seed into a dark whole and covering it with dirt made me question if I'd ever see them again.

But we have seen them! Today we noticed little baby lettuce sprouts popping through the dirt. I felt like a proud parent.

Our garden has increased my faith. With proper action, faith will grow and produce righteous desires and blessings.

I love your garden! I love those rock labels..so clever. You've inspired me to buy one of those pots of tomatoes that hang upside down. That's probably as far as my gardening will ever go. And you and your little family are adorable.
