ROOM SITUATION.

I need all of your ideas and inputs. I'm trying to figure out if Luella and the new baby should share a room. Would having a newborn in the same room as Luella be disruptive to her sleep? Anyone have any advice?

Do you want to test it out over Thanksgiving break :) ? If she can sleep through Rosie's crying then she'll definitely be able to sleep through the new baby's cries.

You may just have to try it out, by March Luella may be a very heavy sleeper....or not :)

It depends on how hard your daughter sleeps. Shayla sleeps so lightly that that would never work for us (the sound of the doorknob alone would wake her). So far Shayla's adjusting well to the baby, and loves to kiss and talk to him - she smiles and points to Sam and says "baby!!!" every time she sees him. There have been a few moments when she wants to be held or played with when I'm busy with the baby and gets upset when I don't. She is young enough it seems she is not jealous of the baby, she just doesn't understand why I'm not able to do things with her like before. Right now we have grandma and dad 24/7, but when they leave things may get drastically harder... hoping for the best though :)
