WE HAVE OUR YEAR SUPPLY OF DAYQUIL IN THIS HOUSE.

It's been a day without naps--which means a very (pause) long (inhale) day. Luella is on strike for some reason. Even though her eyes are as red as can be, she refuses to sleep. I just put her down in one last attempt, but I think my efforts are in vain. I'm in the room beside her and I hear a few soft thuds, some laughing, and then her little voice saying "up." She has given her stuffed bears the boot from the crib.

In dinner news: I'm making homemade soup (my first attempt). Brett and I still have colds, so we are ignoring the fact that it's a pleasant 70 degrees outside. Hopefully I don't butcher the recipe.

Is the tomato basil soup your making from the Sister's CAfe? If it is....the soup is amazing!! LOTS OF BUTTER, but definitely tasty

GOOD LUCK MIJA

Shayla began refusing naps for a week or two at the exact time I became pregnant again... could that have been why? They say babies can sense change. Just sayin... haha. Or maybe it's just one of those stages at a coincidental time.
